Choganjang (Vinegar Soy Sauce)
This is a general sauce that is good for dipping mandu (dumplings), buchimgae (vegetable pancakes) and sengson jeon (fried fish) and etc.
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp vinegar (balsamic vinegar, distilled white, or rice vinegar)
- 1/2 tsp garlic, minced
- 1/2 stalks of green onion cut small
- 1 tsp hot pepper powder (optional)
- l/2 tsp sugar (optional)
- Mix all ingredients and store in the refrigerator.
