Yangnyeom Ganjang (Seasoned Soy Sauce)

This is a recipe for seasoned soy sauce, or yangnyeom ganjang. Koreans typically use a sauce like this for dipping -- mandu (dumplings), various buchimgae (fried things, like vegetable pancakes) and jeons.
Recipe Ingredients:
- ¼ cup soy sauce
- ½ tbsp vinegar (distilled white, rice vinegar, or balsamic vinegar)
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 stalks of green onion cut small
- l/2 tsp hot pepper power (gochugaru 고추가루)
- l/2 tsp sugar (optional)
Recipe Steps:
- Mix well and serve in a small dipping dish.
