I recently had kimchi in a Japanese restaurant. What's the difference between Korean kimchi and Japanese kim chi?
What kind of fish sauce do you all use? What's the best?

Also one more question, how long should you keep in the refrigerator?
I'm trying out some Indian recipes - anyone know what a good ghee butter subsitute would be? I can't seem to find ghee in the store and wanted a good ghee alternative. THANKS!
I've seen these noodles at the grocery stores and am curious. They seem to be promoted for weight loss. Has anyone had them? How do you cook them and do they actually taste good?
Are you supposed to cook brown rice differently than you cook white rice? I started eating brown rice but it always turns out not so good. I'm using brown jasmine rice.
Is sago the same thing as tapioca, or is there a difference? I'm trying to buy sago pearls for a dish and I can't find them, thought maybe I could use tapioca instead because I can find those easily.
